A two-day capacity building workshop for Minority Right Defenders/ Community Peace Groups was undertaken by PEAD Foundation on 28-29 July’ 2016 in Peshawar. Participants from three participating union councils of Peshawar i.e. Lahori, Jehangirpura and Ganj ensured their presence during the two-day session.
The purpose of the workshop was to enhance the knowledge and skills of the Community Peace Group (CPG) members of the three UCs on leadership, motivation, conflict resolution, human rights and community mobilization enabling them to counter the issues they face in their community and raise voice for their rights in an effective manner.
The activity was part of PEAD’s initiative “Joint Social Action for Equal Rights and Opportunities” being undertaken in Peshawar in collaboration with Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) Pakistan.
