Training modules for teachers

The project Creating Awareness of Rights and Responsibilities in Youth (CARRY) was designed to enhance civic knowledge of students so that they participate in civic life actively. Eight modules were developed in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Germany, to train teachers on the concepts of Civic Education which was then compiled in the shape of a training manual for the teachers to help them implement the CARRY programme.

Water Report 

The current state of drinking water in all the provinces of Pakistan is incredibly shocking and falls far below the international standards of safe drinking water. PEAD Foundation conducted a traning programme "Creating Awareness of Rights and Responsibilities in Youth" (CARRY) in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation in 4 Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (NWFP), to sensitize the people of the state of drinking water in these areas and took water samples from 62 government schools and sent them for testing to PCSIR labs and made the results known to the people in the form of a Water Report.

The Importance of Forests 

Pakistan is considered to be one of the most populated countries of South Asia. This rapid increase in the population is depleting Pakistan's natural resources at a very high rate which includes its forests. This document was put together to emphasize on the role and importance of the forests in the maintenance and sustenance of the eco-system.

Lets Save the Environment Together 

Lets Save the Environment Together is a publication which was prepared by the PEAD Foundation in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation Germany for the project Creating Awareness of Rights and Responsibilities in Youth. In this document we highlighted the importance, functioning and policy making about our environment.

Water Is Life

Water Is Life is a book which explains the role and importance of water in our lives. Since water is the driving force of the Eco-System it was felt that the students should be made familiar with the role and importance of water in our lives. The book was designed in a way that it should be easy to understand and should also grab the attention of the students.

Air Pollution And Climate Change

The effects of air pollution are very visible all around the world. Changing climates are causing all sorts of problems like famine, disease, flooding etc. It is our aim to teach the students on how to take responsibility for the environment and how to work towards improving it. PEAD Foundation along with Hanns Seidel Foundation Germany designed a book to educate our students about Air Pollution and the Climate Change.
