The project Creating Awareness of Rights and Responsibilitites in Youth (CARRY) has been designed to enhance civic knowledge of students so that they participate in civic life activily. Eight modules were developed in colaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Germany, to train teachers on the concepts of Civic Education which was then compiled in the shape of a training manual for the teachers to help them implement the CARRY programme.

PEAD Foundation in conjuction with World Population Fund (WPF) is working on implementing a programme for promoting the health of school goin adolescents. After extensive research a Life Skills Based Education Programme curriculum was developed. This manual was written to assist teachers in conducting the LSBE programme with adolescent boys and girls.

Life Skills Based Education Work Book is a complete guide for helping students complete the activities that our covered in the programme. There is alot of information in the work book for the students to read during and after the programme to remind them of the topics and skills they will learn in the programme.

The current state of drinking water in all the provinces of Pakistan is incredibly shocking and falls far below the international standerds of safe drinking water. PEAD Foundation has been running a programme "Creating Awareness of Rights and Responsibilities in Youth" (CARRY) in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation in 4 Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (NWFP). PEAD took upon itself to sensetize the people of the state of drinking water in these areas and took water samples from 62 government schools and sent them for testing to PCSIR labs and made the results known to the people in the form of a Water Report.

Pakistan is considered to be one of the most populated countries of South Asia. This rapid increase in the population is depleting Pakistan's natural resources at a very high rate which includes its forests. This document was put together to emphasize on the role and importance of the forests in the maintenance and sustenance of the eco-system.

Lets Save the Enviroment Together is a publication which was prepared by the PEAD Foundation in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation Germany for the project Creating Awareness of Rights and Responsibilities in Youth. In this document we highlight the importance, functioning and policy making about our enviroment.

Water Is Life is a book which explains the role and importance of water in our lives. Since water is the driving force of the Eco-System it was felt that the students should be made familiar with the role and importance of water in our lives. The book was designed in a way that it should be easy to understand and should also grab the attention of the students.

The effects of air pollution are very visable all around the world. Changing climates are causing all sorts of problems like famine, disease, flooding etc. It is our aim to teach the students on how to take responsibility for the enviroment and how to work towards improving it. PEAD Foundation along with Hanns Seidel Foundation Germany designed a book to educate our students about Air Pollution and the Climate Change.
